Create a new shortcut
In the Shortcuts app on your iOS or iPadOS device, Tap in the upper-right corner of the screen. An empty, untitled shortcut appears in the shortcut editor. Tap New Shortcut, tap Rename, type the name of your shortcut, then tap Done. Tap Add Action.

Enable an automation
- In the Shortcuts app on your iOS or iPadOS device, tap Automation .
- Tap the automation you want to enable.
- Turn on Enable This Automation.
- Tap Done. When triggered, the automation will run or will ask you to run it, depending on the setting you choose in the next task, below.
Drag one or more shortcuts (colored rectangles) to the locations you want (wait until the rectangles rearrange before you lift your finger). Dragging shortcuts into a new category area on the screen adds them to that category. Dragging shortcuts out of a category removes them from that category. To finish, tap Done.
